Hi there! I’m Kimiko. I am twenty-six years old living in sunny San Diego, CA. I was born and raised here, and I will continue to grow my own family roots here as well. 

I got married to the most amazing man and best friend any woman could ask for, Sean. We have a long history together - 8 years strong. To read about our little love story, click here.

Bentley, my first "born" baby! Bentley became our first baby back in 2009. Sean got him for me as a birthday present. Best present ever! He is a maltese-poodle mix, which also means he's hypoallergenic - a non-shedding dog (great for those who may be allergic, or just don't want dog hair all over the place). He just turned 5 on July 7th, 2014. Read about him becoming a "big-brother" here.

After a month of trying, we found out in September of 2012 that we will have a new addition to our little family come May 2013. Though it didn't take us much time to get pregnant, we were incredibly excited to expand our little family of three, to four. If you want to read all about my pregnancy experience, click here. 

Fast forward nine months later.. On May 17th 2013, we welcomed our first child - Honor Aiko-Lee Scales. Her actual expected due date was June 3rd, but this little bundle of joy decided to come three weeks early. Right when we hit 37 weeks - or what doctors consider "full-term". Honor, honestly couldn't be anymore perfect in our eyes. Becoming a first time mother is certainly nothing you can explain until you actually become it yourself. Shortly After Honor was born, so was Honor's Boutique - a small online boutique featuring handmade accessories for mom's and their littles. 

Honor's Boutique quickly became a nice little part-time hobby for me. It has given me the ability to become creative and create wearable accessories for moms who love to match their little mini's. My line of headbands are cute, trendy, functional, affordable and stylish! Basically every moms dream. Read more about Honor's Boutique here.

Everything else aside, I have grown to really love and appreciate the life I have made for myself. It is certainly something I am truly proud of. I thank god everyday for the blessings he has given me and my family!
