You're 5 Months Old!

You're 5 months old today!! Can you guess what I am going to say next...???? That's right! You're growing up so fast!! You've hit so many different milestones in your fourth month and you're still getting smarter and stronger everyday. Although you like to give me a hard time occasionally, you know you still mean the world to me! My only "complaint" I think I have at this very moment is the sleep regression you have picked up. Apparently this is common in babies when you hit the fourth month mark. You used to sleep amazingly well in your crib and would average 6-8 hours a night, but due to your sleep regression you started to wake up literally every 10-20 minutes. Part of your sleep interruptions is from the discomfort you have from the beginning stages of teething. Since I couldn't bare to go in your room EVERY 10 min and the constant sleep you and I both were losing, your daddy and I now have you sleeping in our bed. Now you know I'm not a big fan of co-sleeping, right now this seems like our only solution for the sake of the rest we all need. Since you have been sleeping with us you have been sleeping for 8 hours minimum without interruption. So I suppose for now this new arrangement and habit we have created, will help us all in hindsight. Its fun to watch your personality and character change everyday… needless to say, you keep me on my p’s and q’s at all times!
